Background: US based Consumer Technology Association (CTA), is the owner and producer of CES the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow which is held in the USA.
Brief: Promote CES to the UK media, businesses and stakeholders. Run the CTA’s UK press trip to CES Las Vegas; run the CTA’s pre CES UK press trip to CES Unveiled Paris.
Type of Campaign: Annual 4 Month Project
Results:
- Increased the number of freelance and female consumer technology journalists from the UK who attend CES in the US.
- Created opportunities for the CTA to develop business relationships with similar organisations and stakeholders in the UK.
- The CTA has seen a massive increase in coverage of its flagship event CES and it is now regularly reviewed and featured in the trade and mainstream press.
- Increase in the number of UK exhibitors that participated in the DIT sponsored UK Pavilion.
